The Prosecutor sounded pretty nasty.

He had to - it was expected by all the politicos.

I would be interested to hear from the local folks about what their local news is saying. We hear from the MSM. I wonder what's really happening on the ground.

His line of questioning Zimmerman was pointless. It didn't score any points with the judge and generated sympathy for Zimmerman (at least in my case it did). If that's going to be his approach at trial, the state's case is in trouble.
The Prosecutor sounded pretty nasty.
My prediction is there will be a motion to dismiss and the Judge will throw the 2nd degree murder charge out. This judge doesn't seem terribly intimidated by the public fanfare. He made quick work of the prosecution's request for no bail or $1.0 million bail.

Everytime I've been on a jury the prosecutor has sounded that way. Even in civil cases, the lawyers have been nasty and insulting toward witnesses not favorable to their side. It's one of the reasons people don't like lawyers. To them it's a game to win or lose and they personally don't care about the truth or justice. Plus they insult the jury by acting like they think them taking a nasty tone will make us hate the person they're questioning.

With only one exception I've always come away with contempt for all the lawyers involved. That exception was a lawyer who was a terrible questioner. He'd look at his papers and slowly frame his questions reading them from some contract law book. He was a terrible trial lawyer from one standpoint but came off trustworthy, not slick. We gave his client some money.

Seeing the pictures of Zimmerman, I wonder how tall and heavy he is? I heard Trayvon was 6'2" and about 175#....Zimmerman doesn't look like much of a match if Trayvon started the stituation and was on him, banging his head into the cement....

Evidently, they are holding the autopsy under close wraps......WHY?
