No, Levin isn't a latino hater. He was upset that possibly exculpatory evidence wasn't provided to the judge. In most cases it would be unusual to include exculpatory evidence in an affidavit, however in this case many argue it should be provided on a "charging" affidavit due to the affirmative defense of self defense and/or "stand your ground".
