Charger, Yipes, thought I was on the wrong thread for a moment!<G> Charger, with ECO here we have, well, I am reminded of Shakespeare, alas poor Yoric, I knew him well. OK, enough of my bad puns.
Echo's total cost as last I figured it was in the $380's. Not real encouraging, eh? The only good points is their silver production has increased nicely, silver is on the way up, and they are cutting costs in gold production. I just have not had the time to complete analysis of their cost reductions to see if the cost would be much better.
Also this stock closely mirrors the price of gold, outside of its restructuring charge drop. I also was watching ECO manuever and came to the conclusion that its POG following abilities (this stock must be a trading vehicle) were intact again and that it would follow gold up and also it would be "healed" by any rise of POG and would recuperate nicely in addition to any POG increase. Some of this has already taken place as ECO came back from the brink at 2 1/4 to around 2 7/8 without much help on POG.
BTW, the japanese markets are currently along with the Koreans getting smacked around - 5% tonight and if this carnage continues......well either the crash protection team will smack gold thru 300 or gold will smack them!<g>
And ECO kind of hangs in the balance.
