Income inequality is what is important not specific amounts of income. If yu have two tribes and it is a hard winter and one tribe shares the food equally so everyone can eat and stay healthy through the winter; and another tribe lets those who missed a kill starve to death, which tribe do you want to live in and which will be the strongest?
