Wow- that must be one tough class. If a parent supports that, there's something going on in that school. I certainly understand the frustration. There are children who will not pay attention, and who want to ruin education for everyone else. They "deserve" an education, so it's tough to get rid of them. Private schools have the advantage on the public schools, since they don't have to educate everyone. They can throw the rotten apples out- of course the apples have to end up somewhere, and it would be nice if they could learn something, and be educated, rather than end up in prison.
