I think what might have some relevance are things like- number of abortions for religious folks who claim to be against abortion (measures hypocrisy), amount they drink to excess (measures self control), amount of sexual partners (measures self control), tendency to divorce (measures ability to live up to promise), percentage who beat their children or spouse (anger management)- these metrics, imo, help to show whether you can live a decent life. I suspect at least some of these can be found broken down by religion. I think I've seen the divorce statistic- and the religious don't do too well on that one.

Since you can find someone to represent every point of view, points of view are pretty meaningless. Statistics are much better- though they can be used to obscure as well as to illuminate.
