Temp, Its a good idea but in the early and mid 50's GM and most of them use replacement paper filters, nobody like them because they were too messy. Thats why they change to screw on filter I thought.

Temp, next time leave the sharecropper at home, you'll get there faster.<GGGGGG> As far as the oil filter, I can't find where to put oil into a car, so I really have no idea about this thingamagig contraption doohickey sort of widget. If it's environmentally beneficial, than you need a senator or two to invest in it. They'll pass tougher restrictions on oil filters and you'll be one rich Longhorn, or so DH reports:-)(you really should have got 2 rooms, it just doesn't look proper:0).

Steve, Jeezs, beat 15 hours from here. Course this is aviation country. On the trip home from San Diego, my wife had my bags in the car before I got off the airplane.

As far out as Westlake is the rooms are uptown. I might be encouraged to double or triple next time down too. VBG!

BTW: A few miles down Westlake Blvd puts you high up in the canyon country. Be a nice place for a modest inn for Ftel visitors. Certain with the right contacts could keep it full. Might do that when I get too old to trap.
