You need Windows 7 drivers for that printer. Go to the Canon website and see if they are there, or call Canon, or you could try this at your own risk:

Ken,

Did you reboot your PC AFTER the printer was powered on and attached to the USB port?

If so, click on the START menu; Type: ADD a printer in the search box, then go to ADD A PRINTER.
