Exactly. You don't like it when your own words are used to show the inconsistency of your thinking. What's good for GM isn't good for the banks. Why? What makes banks special that we should allow the tax payer to fund their bad management? And don't tell me the world will blow up. That's bullshit speculation. I can point to a period in history, the S&L crisis, where we handle things very differently and successfully wound down thousands of banks, while putting the criminals in jail. We could have done that again, but Bernanke and Obama chose not to. Why? I'll tell you why. They are in bed with the bankers and they have a Keynesian ideology that is getting in the way of practical solutions that have worked successfully in the past. It's pretty much that simple.
