Hi Johnny,

In the recent past it seems there are the haves - they do business with aapl.

The have nots - do not do business with aapl.

Few/limited profits are being made when doing business with aapl - they are great at working all ends/angles - especially since have become so dominant in phones and tablets.

It seems that the have nots have been talking about orders picking up this quarter - in the past they were just missing. I'm wondering if the general semi business is getting better, beyond that which involves iphones and i tablets. It may just be the inventory work out from Japan and Thailand floods has been realized = a good thing.

Perhaps the best example is TXN a past "have not" but things are getting better.

As a dealer I've been beat up by huge buyers of fleet vehicles.

One MUST know their costs and not be scared to say "I do NOT need that profitless growth that requires Capex on my limited capital.

It is the toughest decision to make and has a lot ot do with continuing profitability.

All too often the decision is made based on "Growth" and not good profits.

Many a semi company has gone down the path to destruction based on that wrong thinking.
