Wayners, I totally agree with your logic that we now live in a Global society. It will be interesting as how others on this site argue the position that we should not include other nationalities to perform work in the US. Chinese immigrants were an invaluable part of the labor force building for example the intercontinental railway in the 1870s. The performed a vital service at low cost because lazy whites wouldn't work that hard for that little money. We live in a single World today, the days of the Nation State are doomed. Capital flies to those that do if for less and who are willing to do the work. This is basic economics and Capitalism. If it were any other way, that would be the equivalent of wage and price controls...e.g. price fixing...something abhorrant to the the American Way. Peace and Love.
