The fact that people meant it to cause emotional harm, or to denigrate a certain group True, but the people on the receiving end must recognize and object to the comment or name..... If you are black and your brother calls you a nigger that would probably not insult you but it the term were used with malice aforethought, that might get you in trouble...... This is not hard to understand.... Nonsense. People find all sorts of things offensive, sometimes for rather silly reasons. Disagree, people find them offensive if they view them as offensive, if you use offensive terms and don't recognize them as offensive because you don't realize who your talking to and understand their sensitivities that only says your ignorant of the situation..... The moral, heed what your saying if you don't know your audience.
