I don't know, Tharos. Japan down 4.25%, Malaysia down over 5 and Korea down about 4. Doesn't sound great to me. HK is only down a couple though. I don't even know what the Topix is. Please keep me informed of your opinions on Asia. Don't worry. I won't trade on them. (:>)Thanks. Andy

Small banks, securities firms and real estate development companies getting hammered, as I suspected. So is Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

Autos & light mfring doing well, sure it is Y/$ exchange rate based. As the yen gets cheeper Japanese products will become more competitive in the rest of Asia. Watch 127ish/$1 rate as this is a key support area. Indices holding, think the day will end not as bad as American markets seemed to anticipate.
