Bear,
With the Asia markets in a downward tailspin tonight we can only wish that LGND can hold its current price tomorrow.

Yes, I do agree with that, however, we need to ask ourselves is there a better place to invest our money over the next two years? For example, two years ago we could have bought CPQ for $16. DELL, INTC and a lot of other stocks have trippled.

RB, 2 1/2 years ago LGND could have been bought for 5 1/2 and sold for 19 3/4 a year later. Woulda, coulda, and shouldas are very easy to find in retrospect. Of course if you wanted to make a quick buck you could have shorted AMLN at $15 just before they released their Phase III data, and then bought the shares back for $7 a couple of days later.

HI Russian bear!

Thanks for the kind words...you could tell that i was really depressed about the stock action. How can you guys stay optimistic in these kind of situations? MAybe it's experience...well i hope the stock will come back. I tried to talk myself into ignoring the short term stock flucutations and keep the long term vision. Looked at the chart and saw that it takes often about 4 month from one high to the next peak(which could be lower than the one before/also the last peaks were 6 month apart). OUr last peak was exactly mid october so that we can hope for 16-17 in mid january! That would also fit with the seasonal aspect of it.If it goes higher that 16-17 i would be quiet happy again.
