Women are more liberal, that's no surprise.

But despite that fact - "When it came to just women voters, 46 percent said Romney better understands their issues while 41 percent said Obama is better."

That pretty much shoots down your whole idea that women generally see Republicans engaging in a war on women. (As if it needed shooting down, it was obviously ridiculous from the start)>>

What research are you using?

Nationwide Obama has a 14 to 20 point lead among women. Why? Women voted for Obama over Mccain and even Kerry over bush.

A new Reuters/Ipsos poll out Tuesday shows that Obama has a comfortable 14-point lead on Mitt Romney among women likely to vote in November's general election, 51 percent to 37 percent. That split is more or less the same from the same poll taken back in March that showed Obama with a 54-38 advantage.

Reuters spots another interesting development in its latest survey: "Despite Republicans' efforts to portray themselves as the party of the family, Obama even had a big edge on family values among women, with 51 percent picking him as better on that issue compared with 36 percent for Romney."

As for male voters, the new poll showed Obama with a 47-43 edge on Romney. That's a 3 point drop for Obama from March, while Romney has held steady
