With a major bill like this there should never have been a 'simple majority rule' called for by Reid.

Why did Senator Majority Leader Reid call for a simple majority of 51%? Reid called for a simple majority of 51% because he knew Obamacare would never pass if the required vote were higher.-------such as a two-third's majority.

This demonstrates the importance of carrying the Senate Seats in the election in November.

One such potential win is the best Governor of Virginia in the last two decades, George Allen who is running for the seat being vacated by Senator James Webb..

Allen is being challenged by another former Governor Tim Kaine, Obama's appendage for the US Senate in November 2012.

This needs to be FRONT PAGE NEWS-----if WAPO won't put it on the front page, then move it to other sources who will give it the attention needed.
