I should mention that when I booted up this morning I got an error box telling me "dupdater.exe" could not run because the file "MSVCR100.dll" is missing. Does anyone have an idea about how to correct this?

I had a similar problem when I updated to Win7 64 bit with and old large format Epson printer that Epson no longer makes drivers for. Win 7 has a driver but it isn't very compatible as I can no longer use all of the printer paper for a print. Some of the paper is greyed out and unusable no matter which printing software I try to use, basically making the printer obsolete. You may have to just move on like I did or go back to XP.

Ken,

If you can find a newer Canon bubble jet printer which has a 64 bit driver, it's quite possible that it will work with your printer as well. Best bet would be at Canon's web site and preferably after chatting with Canon tech support.
