I don't think you have to worry about that. As I've mentioned before, workers here on an H1B visa must be paid the prevailing wage for a particular job. I doubt that the "prevailing wage" for an engineer working at Boeing is the minimum wage.

That's Boeing's typical MO. It could be the Russians have a particular set of skills but I bet you it has to do more with money. I will ask one of the Boeing guy's at my gym and see if he knows.
