Transgendered the newest protected class:

EEOC ruling that gender-identity discrimination is covered by Title VII is a ''sea change'' that opens the doors to employment protection for transgender Americanshttp://www.metroweekly.com/news/?ak=7288

government should stay out of people's personal lives

That's what they said about gay sex, keep government out of the bedroom ... and now they're teaching school kids about it, forming gay clubs in schools, disciplining kids who say they don't favor gay marriage ... in some places, they're questioning judges and incoming college students about their sexual orientation. Oh yeah, churches who run childrens homes and sponsor adoptions should be forced to adopt to gay couples or else. And on and on.

Abortion was about a woman and her doctor, privacy, yada yada. Now they say churches have to pay for employee's abortificants.

There's a gramscian culture war going on.

>> Based on what you posted, the court said something about grams and numbers of plants.

I read the opinion and it wasn't in there, I don't think.

I assume that was determined administratively or something.

Do you disagree with that? I honestly don't give a big damn what homos do in the privacy of their bedrooms. Period.

If they want to stick hamsters up their asses that's just fine with me.

Sorry -- this is the price of freedom. We can't be sacrificing freedom because we don't like what government or particular interest groups will do with it.

I just don't think it is worth it, personally, in the name of legislating morality, to give away my right to do WTF ever I want to as long as I don't harm anyone else.

I live in the country where the city can't tell me I have to a get a permit if I want to build a treehouse. But the downside is my neighbor can build a "hog farm" if he chooses to do so. I'll take my chances.
