Brumar, this is exactly what I'm talking about.

Crazy Joe can't tell the difference between marginal and average tax rates, nor does he really want to.

No one gives a rat's ass about marginal rates.....they only care about the rate they actually have to pay.....

The only number that means anything is taxes paid as a percentage of AGI...... if all his income was taxable his number would be even higher.....since deductions vary with the individual the only comparison that makes sense is AGI.....even though it ruins your show...
