Not sure if you covered my question. Did you add second buy? I di not and I think you did not too. Also followed this thread into Big Lots which is not good right now. Should I add more? Big Lots had a big drop.

I think you on gold missed seasonal timing and don't know what happened with Big Lots but what you guys are thinking are good is not working out for me. Please relate your investment on gold on relative to seasonal timing and if you please do so with Big Lots too.

Gold producers - THese guys get the gold@ USD 500/600 an ounce while the metal is trading at $1600. I wonder why there is such a huge disparity in valuations and the stocks are not riding high?

re NEM had a narrow earnings beat at 1.17$/share. Production was flat YoY and cost were below expectations (620$/oz, 20$/oz less than expected). the big news was that the Peru/Conga project (800M$ in sunk costs, I believe) may not get off the ground. I think the cost focus is good but the production growth is more uncertain than I thought a while ago.
