Did any of the TA folks predict a rebound today?

It's been my observation that the method by virtue of its nature almost always results in your arriving late at the party -- after all, there must be enough data points for a trend to be observed before it can be called. But, as we are often reminded, YMMV ;-)

Trading $613+ pre market but probably won't hold that for the open.

I dont know about the open, but my WAG is that the stock is going to do the opposite of last quarter. The price action gave everybody a chance to get in after the January earnings, but I doubt that is going to happen this time.

In defense of fundamentals. Did any of the TA folks predict a rebound today? Did the tea leaves show this was going to happen? TA really works in some portions of a stocks cycle, but I don't think it works all the time. And fundamental analysis often doesn't work over the short term, but if accurate always pays off over the long term.
TA fails when monumental FA takes over. Even Henry knows that.

Oh, and there is no such thing as "always" in the stock market. So, nothing "always pays off over the long term."

BTW, I'm almost ready to push the buy button on NOK, based 100% on TA, so you may want to plan your FA exit. ;-)

I can't say that it will be able to hold this level this morning or today, but I'm holding. I do expect to see AAPL touch $630 at some point by this time next week. Maybe $640. [However, I have been wrong before!]

I don't think T.A. could of predicted the extent of to days rise. But, I don't think T.A. is cut out to do that.
