John, I wrote you this lengthy post last night about Japan and our markets and when I tried to send it off I was told that the server was not available until 3:30 am EST. Well, I checked a couple of times since this would have been only after midnight here, but it never came back on.

Well, we know in the meantime that our markets were up today. I got up at 5:30 this morning in order not to miss M.Dell. He was just as upbeat on CNBC than the night before on Moneyline. Dell and CPQ were up really well this morning but only Dell was able to stay up a bit. This whole market is crazy. The CEOs of the tech stocks are telling us that everything is still rosy but those money managers just HAVE to lock their profits in, namely Fidelity again. Same Peter Lynch who always told us: Buy good stocks and hold them and then went out immediately and sold on us. We know this now thanks to the internet.
He had a pretty high turnover rate also.

There is not much that can be said besides our markets should be up and will be up. But I guess first they have to drive them down. The DOW was up nicely but the Naz with all the techs was lagging. I don't think this selling can go on forever, the good techs will come back. Best stuff going.
