They stripped every leaf off every tree. It literally look like November in July. Every step you took outside you killed 20. It threw me into a small depression it was so bad.
The problem now in the west is the pine bark beetle. Huge swaths of mountain forest land are covered with dead trees.

We cut off the branches where they've built tents and burn them. I'll never forget the smell of burning tent caterpillars in the morning.
