Bill,
I have never said the sky is falling, nor do I think this is the BK for this year. Technicals USUALLY preceed fundamentals...I agree. But, when things move too fast and/or are reactionary to unforseen events the TA gets a bit tougher. It is like trying to use your charts on a $3 stock that is being manipulated...futile. Even using TA on a large basket of stocks, I don't see a big move up soon. IMHO outside events will only stimulate people to finally dump their losers in the near future. So with that....there is a lot more room to buy your calls.Maybe next week or next month? I do try and take it a day at a time also...and if I can't find a stock to buy soon, I may be in a twelve step program !!! VBG
Please know that I am not chicken little...just part philosopher, trader, optimist, macro-economist, investor....talk about a split-personality!!! :))
Regards,
Barbara

P.S. a few successful "pros" I know have admitted lately that basically they are clueless about the nearterm. They won't publish that, but if you tab through a lot of charts it is getting harder to find any really strong charts like we had previously. ( I am weighted in techs in my data base)

Ok.. so you saying that since there is no evidence to support BK at this time it's a buy op?
Come on...what was that about open mind?

Mark

OK Bill, I'm hearing your advice, one must move beyond chickenlittleism...so what would the wise trader do? I have been going more and more to cash and will continue to do so tomorrow. I guess perhaps we are agreed...wait until the dust settles. In my case I'll likely be looking for some bargains after it does.

Hi, Bill

Re: "But the wise trader will make the money regardless of who is saying what!"

Well said, my dear. Did you get into ORCL yesterday?
