Yikes! Thank you for the update. I hope everything is better soon for her and her husband.

How many suitcases have you packed so far?

Thanks Karen. Fourth great grand daughter Naomi Grace Haynes arrived yesterday morning the 25th at 9:30 a.m., 8# 2 ounces and 19" long. Blonde, blue eyed with lots of ringlets of hair. I could not attend her birth because of my severe bronchitis.

God does work miracles for those that trust and have a strong faith in him. These are my oldest grandchildren who lost a baby a year ago last March due to a freak of nature and that child was full term male and perfect in every way. They were devastated and she got pregnant again and got the girl she originally wanted and she rounded out their family two and two. We all are filled with joy over this new baby girl.

Talked with my Dr. last night and he did not want to prescribe a stronger antibiotic until I had a chest x-ray thinking I might have pneumonia. Had an appointment this morning and thank goodness I did not have it. My oxygen level was 96% and he was very pleased with that. Gave me a stronger antibiotic and a stronger inhalator to use so hope to be feeling much better by this weekend. Told me to get a lot of bed rest this next week and I plan to do just that. So tired of feeling weak and ready to be well.

Hubby doing very well. We celebrated his 85th birthday with a family dinner at an Italian restaurant. Saw his surgeon last week and x-ray showed his hip was well healed, so I am having him do more for himself now. He still is on his walker I think because he remembers how much pain it caused him and he is afraid of falling again. He can now go up and down the stairs with his walker in his right hand and holding the railing with his left hand and that is a good accomplishment for him. Hope to take him to his office for a visit next week too. He is very bored and anxious to return to work which is still in his future. I am more than ready to get back to our normal way of life. He is getting anxious to drive his car again but I will chauffeur him awhile longer.

Thanks everyone for their kind thoughts and I have missed being here and hope to be more active after next week. It was a long day today just sitting and waiting for diagnosis. Time for me to say "Good night with love and hugs to all". Naomi
