Another case not quite true.. The Germans were bombing London long before.. they were just crappy shots... with unreliable weapons and greatly underestimating the resolve of their enemies... Imagine if they were American or even Canadian.. (be happy about that one).... as repugnant as Dresden was it was simplify better execution of the original German intent for London..

If you can't take it ... don't bring it.. too bad they couldn't wake up and assassinate Hitler early on...

EDIT: and you know that I am certainly no American apologist.. but ... :O)
