Grahamcracker said about Novastar making fraudulent loans,

"Well, yeah. That was everybody's business model for subprime. The operating theory was that you bundle it with good stuff and sell pieces at various risk levels for various rates of return."

Everybody Grahamcracker???

I beg to difer grahamcracker. Do you know that everybody knowingly and intentionally made fraudulent loans?

Do you have any proof of that with regards to Novastar?

I think you may be getting to know and understand me just a little, and I would appreciate learning about what you seem to think is fact.

Thanks in advance,

Richard Morris

Just because all your neighbors were selling crack isn't going to get the judge to cut you a break for running a crack house. Fraud is fraud. Just because their are other crooks committing fraud also, doesn't make your fraud OK.

There were many people in many subprime lending committing fraud everyday. They all should be prosecuted and jailed, and the companies should pay restitution and boatloads of fines. This goes for the big money money center banks like BAC to the penny ante thieves like Novastar.
