I have other questions about that too.

Why do they tell us they poled a bunch of economists and their estimate was off? How is that useful. Why not just say how the number is meaningful wrt to a recovery of strong employment. A significant move toward a 6% statistic would be a positive sign. So report something like, we didn't move in a positive direction but because it is April we shouldn't expect much of a movement or we should have but we didn't.

'That economists poled were wrong' (+) or ( - ) data is useless (to me). Putting aside my confusion about how they could possibly get such a simple computation wrong, It has a major effect on the stock indexes and I don't know why. Maybe Tim F would know. He doesn't seem to be around today though.
