Jane for now I will just say that there are many variables that factor into one's life that can cause a person to lose touch with reality and even disconnect themselves from our Father. Many chemical inbalances can cause one to do what he/she would not otherwise even consider. Our father is mindful of these tragic occurrences. Jane you had no way of knowing just form a look, we can't see into a person's mind, and certainly can't be expected to. If God our Father wanted you to know for sure He would have told you for sure. We can't be all things to all people at all times. And while I understand the way you feel, It was not your responsibility to know ahead of time. In any case you got to witness to him and maybe it was just in time, nobody but God knows what was on his heart just before he died.
