Start up costs expat: Housing and car: BRL1million. That is what a newly arrived would need to start up living nice in Curitiba. A cool BRL1million would cover: House for 3 people, car, furniture. Perhaps a little more to modify house your liking. A rich guy would go up to BRL 3 million. BRL 2 million for a house. Need two cars. buy in the design and build to fit. I already incurred paying up the start up costs, now only paying the costs of living. Klaser can add to the data.
