You've already agreed 'that stuff', the marginal rates, affect some people so there's no reason for you to keep blubbering. I'd argue that I agreed to that" stuff", Good. Time to get over your embarrassment at admitting that marginal rates affect some people's behavior. but I'd argue even harder that I said higher income people don't pay those rates.....and showed you the data. Unfortunately, your "data" only showed the average of all their taxes paid to AGI. In fact, everyone pays the highest marginal rate applicable to their income level on their marginal income. Your remaining problem is you don't understand the meaning of the word 'marginal'.
