Taxikid, loosen up a little and don't take everything so personal. Remember that most of us on this thread are long on AIPN and want to believe that we have made a good investment. A few, including you, have different objectives and from time to time like to short the stock to make some good money. I admire you for your investment savy and I am sure you are a very successful investor. You are smart enough to know that there is almost always a lot of speculation and rumors involved in natural resource exploration companies.

I believe AIPN is in a unique situation because they have co-operated with the Kazakstan officials as much as possible in order to get favorable status. Is there some politics involved in this situation. Of course there is. But then, do you know of any poverty-stricken politicians in this country.

Having said that, let's give Faris credit for bringing this all together to a point where he appears ready to make the very best deal for everyone holding AIPN stock. This appears more and more like a much bigger deal than hardly any of us imagined. First, it was rumored to be a $600,000,000 JV deal and now we hear they may have turned down a One-billion dollar deal for an even better deal. It's time for us to recognize this for what it is--a unique investment opportunity. Taxikid, do you agree that this is a possibility?

I was suprised with Greg Holden's opinions until I learned that he is a chemist. I guess we all know that scientists want just the facts. In most cases that's a very good idea. If we look at the technical factors driving this stock, we appear to be on thin ice. The fact is, there is no proven oil yet and I would be worried if AIPN had to drill for the oil; wait for a discovery; and then wait for the oil to hit the pipeline before seeing any money.

The fact is, AIPN has a consession that has considerable value; and Kasakstan officials have said they are not going to auction off these consessions as frequently as in the past. Some oil companies still don't have their piece of the pie and there may not be many pieces left--at least not for some time. You tell me. Is Faris dealing with a weak hand or is he getting ready to rake in the chips?

Oh, by the way, what color is your cab? (off topic)
