Bankbuyer- I was right about deep PMI- With out Deep PMI, NovaSTAR would not be around today. Take a look at all the stocks of the mortgare insurers. In my opinion they still can not be owned until there is inflation in housing.

how does the deep PMI determine the future value of NOVS?

from the 99% decline in the stock price it's clear that the deep mortgage insurance was phoney - as it was clear from reading any of the securitization documents in my opinion.

but this makes no difference in the turnarund opportunities in NOVS
