I'm looking to get back into my Apple shares later this week on any market weakness. First week of May still vulnerable to "sell in May and go away".
heh heh and don't forget about Facebook IPO. It will suck all the oxygen out of all tech stock and given a so-so looking earning in 2Q and Europe start to act up again, I think we are going to see a pretty tough trading action for Apple this Q. I just sold my stock and deep in the money covered call (May 540) this moring that I got myself into the day of earning (stock) and the day after earning (May 540 call to lock up the $50 a share jump after earning) and I think I may wait until the wash out complete and just play the iphone 5 derby later this year..

Apple can grow from 35 to 50 million iPhones per quarter pretty easily by the December quarter.
I think we need to see some must have features in Iphone 5 to make that number possible. So far the list of potential features look promising. And Apple need a lot of Iphone upgrade to make that 50 million number. Apple did a great job in decimate RIMM/LG/HTC market share in the last few quarters. The market share gain boost will be gone by 4Q and it will be all about the underlying high end smartphone market growth, current Iphone user trade up, and growth in developing countries. I am not as optimistic about the new carrier. I don't see any big hitter in the remaining list (i.e no more China or even Korea or Japan). Collectively they will be a nice add, but the action is still in China/Korea/Japan/Brazil (the more wealthy developing country) given Apple's price point.
