If the GOP gets to control everything again there will be no austerity. Doubling down on the military industrial complex, more trickle down economics that doesn't work and another massive credit juiced housing bubble my predictions as the economy 'booms' like in 2005-06 yet again.

Agreed. The politics of doing the right thing relies on selfless people willing to lose the next election to do what is right for the country.

How arrogant! Spain is falling into a depression but you insist they are doing the right thing. Bush/Cheney thought invading Iraq was the right thing. Reagan thought sending Marines into Lebanon was the right thing. Rs thought impeaching Clinton was the right thing.

So many wrong things borne of arrogance.
