If Microsoft wants to enter the college classroom, so what? The CSU administrators responsible for the decision had a choice, didn't they? There were selection criteria, weren't there? There are other companies in the consortium, aren't there?

Just more fuel for the sensationalistic witch-hunt that has ensued in recent days.

So Columbo,

The following quite was in the link about CSU "It is a clear signal that Microsoft plans to embrace and extend itself into the education market," he added. "Microsoft's involvement is a threat to consumer choice."

So now everytime Microsoft is involved there is a threat to consumer choice? This is rubbish, this quote shows clearly what Microsoft competitors want which is a non-competitive Microsoft. I think this quote should be rephrased to more accuratly descibe what this competitor feels "Damn that Microsoft, if only the gov't would stop them from competing then any old crappy bid would be accepted hmmm how can I spin this to my favor...." <then this quote above>
