Can anyone, student or faculty, make a claim of minority status, and claim the benefits, without any documentation?

Yes, I tried telling you that a while back. Racial background is now self declared.

Many or most of us have some Indian in us. My wife has some indian in her from one of her Irish ancestors that stepped off the boat in Virginia in the 17th century and took an indian girl as his wife. Maybe she should have put "American Indian" on her college app and financial aid and maybe she would have received some scholarships. Or a job as a professor. <ggg>
