Most fresh fish don't taste "fishy"

Hard to get at regular supermarkets - there the fish is usually a bit too "old" and taste fishy.
One I go to (not for fish) turned around and now has a guy that specializes in fish to make sure everything is fresh.

Get free swimming fish or go to specialty or Asian fish market.

There's a reason that sushi is expensive.

Talk about getting what you pay for.

Always warn my kids: stay away from discount sushi...

Although I don't care that much for fried fish:

Fresh Fresher Freshest
Do you like fresh fish?
It’s just fine at Finney’s Diner.
Finney also has some fresher fish
that’s fresher and much finer.
But his best fish is his freshest fish
and Finney says with pride,
“The finest fish at Finney’s
is my freshest fish, French-fried!”

SO…
don't order the fresh
or the fresher fish.
At Finney’s if you’re wise,
you'll say,
“Fetch me the finest
French-fried freshest
fish that Finney fries!”
