OMG, what has happened to this thread with all this lard talk?:)

I know that I consumed a fair amount of this stuff in the Tex-Mex food that I totally loved as a young kid in South Texas. It made everything taste SO good.

Annie, I didn't know that it was beneficial in that way. To the contrary, I thought that it was artery-clogging, plaque-causing, heart attack-inducing stuff.

You learn something new every day, right?
