Apple still has China Telecom's first full quarter of sales to generate some upside for this quarter, then it will be very quiet for the September quarter in terms of surprises.

I wonder what the growth in iPhone 5 sales will be later this year. Do they stagger it out and keep production at 35 million iPhones per quarter, or will they take it up a notch to something closer to 50 million iPhones for the December quarter.

I think they need more carrier announcements to get ahead of the 35 million production runs, and that's unlikely before the iPhone 5 announcement. I think the excitement will stay subdued for awhile to let the stock digest it's big move from last quarter.
