NETWORK MANAGEMENT

Motorola's implementation of new Network Management applications will
provide a comprehensive management solution for Motorola's Cable Data
System that will enable operators to view all of their cable routers from a central site. This will allow operators to proactively diagnose problems and plan for future network requirements. This includes fault, performance, configuration and topology management via a graphical user interface. The applications will operate either in conjunction with HP Open View or as ''stand-alone'' applications running on Solaris, HP-UX or Windows NT operating systems.
