The presidential waiver means that aid can now be delivered. The unilateral statehood gambit was strongly opposed by Israel, which said Abbas was seeking to avoid negotiating the necessary compromises and modalities of statehood with Israel. The US indicated it would veto a resolution in the Security Council seeking unilateral recognition of “Palestine,” but the issue has not come to a vote, because the Palestinians were unable to obtain sufficient support in the Security Council. They may yet seek a non-binding endorsement of statehood in the UN General Assembly. Section 3 of Congress’s Palestinian Accountability Act, which applies to 2012, stipulates that “no funds available to any United States Government department or agency … may be obligated or expended with respect to providing funds to the Palestinian Authority.” Obama has now signed a waiver, however, the White House said Friday, and asked Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to inform Congress accordingly.

So if I don't like someone of a different nationality causing problems in my neighborhood/country, I'm a racist? Am I racist if I don't like extreme liberals? Am I racist if I don't like idiots? I think Zimmerman is well within his rights to like, or dislike people of a different nationality, if he believes they are here illegally (can't speak English being the biggest clue) since they are violating the law. But culturally Zimmerman is Latin. He's of Peruvian ancestry, Spanish-speaking, country. So calling him a racist for disliking other Latins is like my claiming I don't like Caucasians because their (my) skin is white. It's just ridiculous!! Hawk

Sorry, but you're hallucinating again .... you wishing it were true, doesn't make it true. Jumping to conclusions can be very ... embarrassing, when things finally settle down and truth does start coming out. Your continued efforts to discredit Zimmerman, based on nothing beyond your whims and your immature reliance on media hype, is a form of bigotry all it's own. Yet you want to point fingers and insinuate others are bigots or racists ... Nothing you posted that came from the page is racist. The worst part of your entire post is the way you openly display your bigoted attitude. Why do you feel a need to do that, in light of no trial even being started yet? Remember the basic premise of our judicial system ... Innocent until proven guilty. The same way you yourself would want to be treated, right?

Maybe Zimerman is just upset that illegal aliens, aka "mexicans", can get away with ignoring laws that citizens can't get away with. For example, a citizen must produce a photo ID to fly yet an illegal alien "mexican" can produce a library card w/o ID and board a plane. For example, a citizen must comply with State driver's license and insurance requirements but yet an illegal alien "mexican" does not have to. A citizen must comply with Obamacare but free medical and other assistance is routinely granted to an illegal alien "mexican". Are you aware that canadians have a harder time visiting the US than illegal aliens from south of the border? Perhaps you can explain the above? If you are unfortunate enough to have your car destroyed by an unlicensed, unregistered, uninsured motorist like myself and many of my friends, only to watch the police let the driver drive off with not so much as a citation, then perhaps the problem will become more evident to you. One of my friends was just run down on his bike in a bike lane in front of Target and the illegal alien tried to flee. His car was caught up on the mangled bike as well as my friend so as he was going back and forth on top of his victim, people came and dragged him out of the car and held him until police arrived. All caught on Target's video cam. The police let him drive off w/o even a citation. Oh, he was turning across a double yellow into the one way "exit only" when he hit my friend. If the situation was reversed, my white, law abiding friend would have been charged with numerous counts and then been sued by a non-citizen living here illegally. this is a direct result of our government not doing its job to secure the borders.
