Sony is doing very well (so presumably is PlayStation):

yahoo.com

Clinton's view on Asia crisis:

biz.yahoo.com

''If the Asian financial difficulties worsen...then the value of the Asian currencies goes down. They don't have money
to buy exports anymore; their exports to our country and to others become much cheaper. And more importantly, they lower
the overall rate of economic growth in the world, which would hurt Americans.''
As Haim pointed out to us several weeks ago - the worst case enchilada.

A falling currency burdens companies with unhedged foreign-currency loans, leading their share values to fall further and
encouraging yet more currency weakness -- a common pattern in the phenonomenon of falling that has gripped Asia since the
middle of this year.
Or who said derivatives are bad?

Japan sucked:

biz.yahoo.com

swelled sharply on growing concern about Japan's overall financial system stability

But European markets are shrugging off Nikkei 5.1% Tuesday decline (at least as of 5:00 a.m. EST):

biz.yahoo.com

''We got the sell-off on Yamaichi worries out of the way yesterday and it was maybe a little overdone. With the dollar firmer
we are coming back up today,'' one dealer said.

biz.yahoo.com

''It looks as if we could end up positive. Some think the Tokyo fall is not as savage as a lot of people thought it might be,''

OWO, you travel the far regions to bring significant, or potentially significant data points to bear.. Don't know what the longer term impact will be of the INTC reorganization, but it bears watching. Thanks! TSO
