Yes, it was fairly predictable. If I had the courage to be a day trader I would have tried it on Apple. I always try to keep in mind money going out of one wallet ends up in another.

I think I'm close having the skills to trade but I still need about year before I'm in a position with my business, and other affairs to devote the time and attention I need to watching the market, gaining a little more TA knowledge and then taking the trading plunge.

but looking for a trading opportunity. I think we're almost there
I picked up some AAPL Jul 550 put this morning for a trade. The global macro look to be a replay of last year Euro crisis again (the only good part is that Spain and Italy already get their refunding auction done mostly this year in Feb, March and April.. So they won't actually has a failed auction which will really spook the market). China GDP is slowing and our economic number is not doing too well (job number etc.). Right now Apple has no news and a lot of stock price gain this year. It is a prime candidate for hedge fund and pension fund selling this Q. We broke the 50 day move average this morning (581). At a minimum, we may test the 100 days MA at 526 and may be the 200 days MA at 470 also..I cleaned my entire portfolio last week and right now only has income etf, muni etf, cash and the Aapl Jul 550 put.

I think we're almost there.
I don't, cause I don't like the long term charts one bit. If $555 does not hold, methinks $500 could be here, shortly:
