Can't believe any committed Libertarians are happy about this.

“We know that our billboard angered and disappointed many of Heartland’s friends and supporters, but we hope they understand what we were trying to do with this experiment,” the institute said late Friday afternoon said in a statement. “We do not apologize for running the ad, and we will continue to experiment with ways to communicate the ‘realist’ message on the climate.”

They don't "apologize," huh? That's because they are too mindless to see how stupid the thing was. And the reporter--who wrote that she scored 33% on HI's "quiz"--is just as mindless as they are.

They just don't seem to get the climate change isn't a matter of public relations and it isn't a question of who believes it or not.

Now the Deniers appear to be zig-zagging again on whether "it" is happening. They seem to veer back and forth on that--it isn't happening at all, or it is happening but it isn't due to fossil fuels, it is due to "xxx". The favorite xxx of today is supernovae--straight from Mr. Watts own page--
Svensmark’s Cosmic Jackpot: “Evidence of nearby supernovae affecting life on Earth”

Not much we can do about those things, but we can (happily!) continue to use fossil fuels for as long as we can find them, thank you very much. Several SI people seem to be quite taken with this theory, so it must be true.
