"All injuns have high cheek bones"

I had heard rumours that Lee Van Cleef and Jack Palance had been captured from Navajo tribes by a command of Dutch-Ukranian immigrants. Apparently, they were able to learn English and then got pushed into a few movies. Their intimate knowledge of Indian ways made them extremely valuable to movie directors. As soon as you see either of them, it is very obvious they are of Indian ancestry--just as you say.
