You've got maybe six square blocks of prosperity in downtown.

You have to start somewhere.

Once you get out of the zone it is total ghetto and abandoned industrial. Was Chicago remotely like this in the mid 70's?

I don't know..........I think many American cities got into trouble in the 1960s, 70s and 80s but I have to believe Detroit is down there with Newark and Cleveland and a few others.....probably Detroit was the worst.

Its comeback will be decades in the making...........but for the first time, I think its on its way
