Former AG: Obama had memo drafted to blame military if Bin Laden assassination failed You will remember that about two weeks ago, I reported that President Obama voted present on the Bin Laden assassination. Contrary to his attempts to present himself as a leader who made a 'gutsy call' to kill Bin Laden, Obama left the decision up to commanders in the field. Well, it's worse than that. On Friday, Sean Hannity showed an interview with former Attorney General Michael Mukasey, who said that Obama had Leon Panetta draft a memo to protect the President politically in case the operation failed. If the operation to kill Bin Laden had failed, the US military was to be blamed. Let's go to the videotape.
