Yes, it shows the power of images to manipulate simple minds, in this case searching for comicbook superheroes. It is the basis of advertising for everything from cigarettes to beer . Its why I loved Marvel Comics and Stan Lee when I was 10 years old...

It cut both ways:

You can't find a picture of when he fell of his horse on July 5, 1989. You wouldn't want to see that... but imagine the joy on the fringe right if Obama took a photographed bike spill.
